A recent successful event organised by Bowral-Mittagong Rotary was the Angel Flight Dinner. & Dance. The night was in aid of Angel Flight (angelflight.org.au) and some 150 people attended the event at Centennial Vineyards last November. A fine repast was presented by the staff at the Centennial Restaurant and the night was danced away to the magic music of the John Field Band. A special song was written for the night by Joss Walsh who sang it to the assembled throng. Julia Zemiro. Julia conducted an informative and amusing Q&A with the CEO of Angel Flight, Marjorie Pagani. Generous corporate sponsorship from local businesses, a silent auction and a very lively live auction enabled Rotary to raise $30,000 for the ongoing support of Angel Flight.
Another fund raising Dinner & Dance will be held in May 2024.
